Allow Me to Introduce Myself and My Business Journey
Hello, my name is Chantal Braithwaite. After my husband was posted to Wagga from Brisbane due to his military service, I started my business. Before this, I worked in Real Estate sales, often putting in 90-hour workweeks. When I found myself at home with nothing to do due to the Covid pandemic, I decided to tap into my creativity. I started with landscape paintings and quickly progressed, learning from great instructors like Bob Ross. As my skills improved, I began selling my art. Eventually, I discovered resin, and I fell in love with creating unique and personalized items. Growing up with a name like Chantal, I could never find anything with my name on it, so I started adding names to everything.
Spreading Joy with My Cricut Machine
During Easter time, I decided to put my newly acquired Cricut machine to good use and crafted Easter egg holders. I also posted locally that for every holder purchased, I would donate another to a child in foster care, a cause dear to my heart as my family fosters children as well. The response was beyond my expectations, and I received a flood of support from many generous people. All in all, I was able to donate over 220 egg holders to two local agencies, and other Cricut owners across Australia also joined in to support the cause. Soon, I had requests for personalized onesies and other items, and I found myself busily creating amazing gifts while doing something that made me completely happy.
Seasonal Donation Drives to Benefit Children in Foster Care
To help vulnerable children in foster care during the challenging holiday season, I will be hosting annual donation drives every Christmas and Easter. Additionally, I'm always open to supporting other charitable causes, so feel free to contact me with your suggestions.

This quality, coupled with my experience in sales (and childcare for 15 years prior to entering the Real Estate industry), has inspired me to pursue entrepreneurship.
