Gift box, gift bag or wrap it? Which is best?

Now this is a tough one! Let's look at the pro's & cons of each

Gift box:

Pro's - Quick, easy, elegant and plenty of designs to choose from

Con's - Standard shapes/limiting, too easy to unwrap (less build up)

Gift Bag:

Pro's - Simple, less time consuming, affordable

Con's - Not good for heavy items, no unwrapping excitement, less designs

Wrapping paper:

Pro's - Exciting to unwrap, plenty of designs,  extra add ons (bows etc) 

Con's - time consuming, bad wrapping looks horrible, lots of tape/wastage

So with those in mind... here is my go to guide.

Gifts for men - Keep it simple boxes/gift bags. unless its something heavy then wrap it. 

Gifts for women - A gorgeous gift box and pretty tissue paper is always a winner, something we can re-use and remember those amazing little gifts every time we see the box. 

Gifts for children - Wrap it!! Kids love to unwrap things it adds more build up and excitement.

Difficult or well known shaped items can be a pain to wrap or fit in a box so for those bag them! things like a watering can for nan is hard to disguise wrapped so get a big bag and some tissue paper and she won't be able to guess what it is, same goes for a bottle of wine (add those into a bigger bag not just a wine gift bag to give an element of surprise).
